Buy Local this Holiday Season

Nature Consortium has made it easy and fun to support our local arts community this holiday season by hosting a “Local Art Mart” for one night only.  Join us during Art Walk for an evening full of live music, artists and good people.  Hope to see you there!

Allison Moore: Potter, tile-maker, and mold designer.
The press molded designs are used for embellishment of thrown pottery, as tiles, and in the creation of specialty items. Larger cast images often require further sculpting to make each one more lively and unique. Favorite subjects have been redesigned and improved upon over the years. Pond and forest life, creatures from the ocean, and ancient symbols are her favorite subjects. The work is fired in electric kilns, at the vitreous (water-proof) mid-range stoneware temperature of 'Cone 5', 2200 degrees F. The pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.  Clays used: Porcelain and Stoneware.

Oleana Perry:  Beetle Shell Jewelry
Add some glitter to your life by wearing  or giving these beautiful beetle shell earrings. Each shell is hand selected for its shine and amazing color and yes, they are the original color of the Jeweled Beetle.  Come and see the beauty that mother nature creates.

Rowan Mullan:  Felted hats, arm warmers and more
My business and life are aligned with nature - the cycles of the seasons, the plants in my garden, the wild and domestic creatures around me.  I create comfortable, wearable, functional art using a permaculture approach, emphasizing sustainability and re-use of natural fibers.
