Bio: Antoinette was born and raised in Seattle, living in Ballard and Greenwoodmost of her life. She received extensive training as a henna artist in2001 with Mehndi Madness. While working there for several years, shedeveloped her artistic style, which became strongly influenced bytraditional Indian and Middle Eastern henna designs.
Since leaving the professional circuit, her love for this art formcontinued to grow, and the desire to expand to other media has progressedinto the art you see today. Henna is traditionally a temporary art form.By transferring to canvas and acrylic, Antoinette has made permanent theintricate and delicate adornments used for centuries to beautify the human skin.
